ABOUT 

With a profound passion for landscape architecture and extensive international experience, Jelena Zoric is committed to transforming urban spaces into vibrant, high-quality living environments.

Jelena graduated from the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Belgrade in 2006, where she earned the title of  BSc. In Landscape Architecture. Immediately after graduation, she left for Canada, For seven years, Jelena worked in the City of Toronto's Urban Planning Division as a Site Plan Technician. In this role, she was responsible for design control and execution oversight of landscaping projects, including the integration of hardscape and softscape elements on medium to large-scale developments. She actively contributed to the development of detailed plans and regulations for the City of Toronto, leaving a lasting impact on its urban landscape.

In 2014, Jelena moved to China and later returned to Serbia in 2017. Back in Belgrade, she joined the private sector, initially as the Manager of the Landscape Maintenance Team and subsequently as a Project Manager overseeing landscape construction works for Tower 1 and 2 at the Belgrade Waterfront location. She continues to work as an associate in the design development and installation of landscape projects throughout Serbia.

Jelena's passion for creative work and design led her to undertake occasional assignments for the North American market, with a primary focus on residential design in Canada and the US in 2020.

 

In 2022, Jelena founded Archiplant Studio with a mission to leverage her international experience and creativity to elevate the local market of Landscape Architecture and Design. Her vision is to establish a robust and coherent connection between Architecture and Landscaping, ultimately aiming to enhance the quality of life in urban areas.
